To promote interdisciplinary, interinstitutional and international scientific exchange in the field of biological signalling studies, CIBSS has established two seminar series taking place regularly during the lecture periods at the University of Freiburg.

Work-in-Progress Seminars (WiP)

The CIBSS Work-in-Progress Seminars (WiPs) offer early career researchers the opportunity to present their ongoing research and receive valuable feedback from within the interdisciplinary scientific community in CIBSS. These seminars cultivate an open and collaborative environment for early career researchers to share their work with colleagues at an early stage. To maintain a confidential atmosphere, these events are not open to the public.

CIBSS Seminar Series

Fostering scientific exchange and collaboration, the CIBSS Seminar Series is a forum showcasing cutting-edge signalling research: Renowned scientists from around the world are invited to share their latest research findings, discuss emerging trends, methodologies, and innovations. The hybrid format allows speakers to present their work either in-person or virtually and facilitates participation from a global audience.
