fredato, or f(reiburg) r(esearch) d(ata) t(ool), is a tool with a user-friendly web interface, which allows managing backups and synchronizing your research projects, managing the access to your data, inviting your team members to your research projects and create groups, standardizing your digital workflow by using fredato’s templates to predefine the directory structure of your research projects, uploading large files up to 250 GB and working in Nextcloud (cloud storage service) and benefit from the functionality of GitLab (collaborative version control) without being involved in its complex workflow.
