Research Focus: Transposable elements in mammalian development. Our lab is interested in the epigenetic mechanisms that govern mammalian embryonic development. Our main focus is on transposable elements (TEs) and how those genetic parasites contribute to both pathologic and healthy developmental phenotypes.
