Biological signalling events occur over a wide range of spatiotemporal scales – from molecules to organs and from microseconds to lifetimes. To elucidate how living systems orchestrate and integrate these signals represents a major scientific challenge.
To advance these topics, the symposium “Signalling across Scales” will bring together international scientists from different research fields such as structural, chemical, developmental and synthetic biology, metabolic and mitochondrial signalling, immunology, epigenetics, the plant sciences and advanced analytical methodologies. The focus will be on key topics of the CIBSS research program like “Integrative Signalling”, “Metabolic Signalling”, “Signalling in Organogenesis” and “Control-of-function”,
There will be many ways to contribute actively to the symposium. CIBSS encourages scientists at all career levels to join and present their work with a poster or a flash talk during the symposium.
The corona crisis requires more flexibility in the planning of events. The organisational team and committee assumes that the current situation (Covid-19) will have returned to normal by November so that the symposium can take place as an on-site event as planned. However, there is a possibility that this is not the case and the symposium must then take place in a different format.
Therefore, you are cordially invited to register already now; you will receive the invoice with the registration fee only in September, when it will be clear that the symposium can take place as planned.
All information about speakers, program, venue and registration is described on the symposium website: https://www.cibss.uni-freiburg.de/cibss-symposium/home/
Registration is open now!
When communicating on social media about the symposium we invite you to use #AcrossScales and tag @CIBSS_UniFR (on Twitter only)
